As Fall imparts it's overdue chill, I've noticed I keep turning to the same few sweaters over and over. My limited rotation is already getting tiresome. And it's only mid-October. I just saw this chiffon-trimmed cardigan and thought it may be a sweet way to update one I already own, or freshen up a plain one that I can find from J. Crew or the Gap. From the local fabric shop, a delicate, near sheer chiffon should run the length of the hem and add extra a few extra inches, probably around 2-4. It adds a delicate appeal that's sweet and unexpected.
